Hey folks,

I've passed my General IELTS ... yaaay (did Academic test before for Student Visa but that didn't help) and now my only remaining question before I send the citizenship application is this:

I'm moving from where I'm living now in 3 months. Can I send the application now using existing address and change address later after the move, or will there be any kind of confusion?

Note that I haven't settle on another location yet.

Thanks,
elbob

any feedback, it's the last question I have before I submit the application

I changed my address after I got my AOR and as far as I remember we can change address online. There was a line where you can specify when you changed the address. Personally, I would send in the application and change the address once I have the AOR.

Your diploma from Canada should have been enough to prove the language requirement. Not sure why you took ielts general test.

By post: Yes you can change the address later. Even though AOR is in email but if they return your application on any missing document then it will go to old address.

By online: Also nowadays its online hence try applying online as i assume that there is no physical application to be return. But check with online application forum to confirm.

How about using a lawyer and putting the mailing address to that of the lawyer's office, because I might move abroad at some point and I'm seeing processing time approaching 3 years now!!

You can but check with what lawyer says.
And make sure you return back to Canada to maintain PR status(before the deadline of rolling 2 years residency out of 5 years).

Hiring an attorney just for mailing convenience seems a little too much work? Unless you have other questions about your filing. Just a personal opinion. Given the fact people on the forum seem to travel all the time after filing their applications.
