Hello all, I am just about to submit my PR application and I just have a few more questions on what to include.

I am an American man being sponsored by my Canadian wife. Currently on post graduation work permit, seeking PR/ work permit

1. On my General Application form for Canada (imm0008) it is asking if I have a national identity document. Would my Social Security number count? or would I put my temporary SIN number for Canada? or should I put neither. I dont have a drivers license or state ID card. Only passport, work visa, SSN, SIN.

2. On my Schedule A Background Declaration (eimm5669) I am a little confused about the Personal History section. I have some overlap of studying/ working and some overlap of studying/ unemployment as well as moving to canada as unemployed before my studying began but I remained unemployed for one month in canada before studies began. Would I put a section for unemployment for usa, then 1 month unemployment in canada, and then indicate my studying starting in canada? and how do I handle the overlaps that I mentioned? There is also a period of time where I began a job in canada while studying where my primary visa was study permit, but before I left the job I graduated and obtained a work visa. How should I handle that and should I indicate myself as being in canada as a worker during that time period since most the time I had that job I was graduated and on a work permit? 3/4 years at that job I was graduated and on work permit, 1/4 yrs there I was studying and working and on study permit.

3. I will be applying for a inland open work permit to go along with my PR application. Can someone direct me to the exact form I need to fill out for this?

4. What form will I need to fill out for a visitors visa (as backup plan)?

Thank you all in advance!

Thank you all in advance!

1. Leave it blank, in USA and Canada we don't have National Identity docs.
2. Don't be concerned about the overlaps just make sure there are no gaps.
3. Sorry, I don't know which form, do a search it will be easy to find.
4. Once you apply for PR inland you will have implied status meaning you can remain in Canada while you app is being processed but you have to stay in Canada for the duration of your application.
