Final Destination: Other than what was listed in the COPR

Hi Guys,

I jut received my COPR and it says there that my final destination is Edmonton. Can I land in Vancouver and settle in Vancouver given this? Or will I need to really live in Edmonton?

Also want to know the answer. I didn't realize that COPR would include the ACTUAL city. I thought it's a province nomination, and not necessarily bound to a final city destination.

If you are not a provincial candidate (PNP), then I believe you can land anywhere in Canada.

if you applied under provincial nomination you cannot settle in another province till the time which your pnp program specifies to remain there.....

What I don't understand is whether the city stated in COPR a rule or a suggestion?

no it should not be bound to edmonton. you can settle anywhere in alberta thats fine. but plz check pnp rules and you can also check at service canada location.....

Nope I am not a provincial nominee. I am coming in under the FSW express entry without provincial nomination. However, during the initial stages of the application we all choose a city and I thought that Edmonton was a good place to put.

Hi all I have a query I got my COPR via a spousal visa program, and the final destination on my COPR is different to the one we put on the application. The destination on the COPR is in the same province just a few hours away. Will this be an issue when I land.
