final approval in GSMC but no OPR for months

Hi! My first time posting here.

I wonder if anyone is in the same boat as I am. I applied on April, 6 and been waiting ever since. GSMC notes (ordered in Sep) have shown that I've been approved back in April and yet here I am, 8 months later with no response from IRCC whatsoever. I don't even know what to think by now. Multiple webforms have been raised, to which I've received either a generic reply or no reply whatsoever (It seems to me recently they've stopped replying). So I wonder if there are other people who've been waiting for their SP since forever with final approvals in GSMC.

Applied: April, 6.
Biometrics: April, 8.
BVL: April, 29.
GSMC: Sep, 20. (Show final approval, OPR - not started.)
Primary office: Manila (I applied from Japan)
AIP: None issued.
DLI: College added on Nov, 3.

I think since your DLI got on the list recently only, you may receive your OPR soon! Have you started your studies online??

Thank you. Contacted them about my status a couple of days ago. No reply so far.
My webform before that, a few weeks back, received no reply thou. So I'm not holding my breath.

I have a similar timeline - applied SDS in march, AIP in august, BVL in November but no more updates. DLI on list since the start

Try attaching a relevant document in your web form, such as a VoE (Verification of Enrollment) letter from your school and demonstrate that your studies start soon etc.. That's what I did and I received my decision sooner.

@Tete My studies started back in September. I was worried this week cuz Humber (my college) told me I can't continue my studies without SP, but yesterday they retracted their statement saying it's okay. Apparently IRCC gave a greenlight.
Why do you think your decision came sooner thou?

I'm in a similar situation. I applied back in February, received no AIP but GCMS is showing that I've passed. Not to mention my school was on the first list of approved DLI's. So frustrating!

My CSMC notes are the same as yours, except for the empty space at Final.
In July, they sent an OPR, but announced shortly later that was an error
On Nov 14, the college got in DLI ready list, and after 1 day I got the correspondence letter and 3 hours later got a request letter for a police clearance certificate.
However, only 3 days later (Nov 18) they sent me the OPR.
So confused!
