Filling up the PR application

Hello Everyone,

My situation: I have received the invitation to apply for PR and I am trying to fill up the applications. i have 35 days to complete and submit the application

My question: In my profile I have provided my work history and location for the past 10 years (outside Canada). I understand that only past 3 years of work experience outside Canada is considered for Points calculation.
In the PR application its asks me for proof of the last 10 years. I have collected documentation for the last 5 years (its a single organization). Can i remove the rest of the 5 years of experience in my PR application (Not in my profile)?
If i should not remove, can i use my work experience letters as work reference letters and upload them?

Note: I have all the appropriate work experience / relieving letters.

You can claim points for foreign experience from the last 10 years.
You can claim points for Canadian experience from the last 3 years.

Do not put any jobs you don't not want to claim points for in your employment history. This will go in your personal history section.

Thank you for your response @tessa2105 the question while calculating the points for non Canadian experience the option to choose is only 3 years or more. So I feel showing the whole 10 years is not necessary? H

You can claim points from foreign employment obtained within the past 10 years, but is capped at 3 years. You get no additional points for 4 years of skilled foreign work experience, over someone who has done 3 years of skilled foreign work experience.

Example 1:
Within the last 10 years you have worked a low skilled job for 8 years, a high skilled job for 2.
You could only claim for the 2 years of high skilled work. You would need a letter from this employer. The other job would go into your personal history section.

Example 2:
You worked in a high skilled job for 7 years, a low skilled job for 3 years.
You could claim points for 3 years of the 7 year skilled position. You'd need a letter from your employer for this position only. The low skilled job would go into your personal history.
