Filling the TRV form

I have couple of questions in IMM5257e :
1-I'm planning to submit hard copies of my application to vfs global office , do I have to print the forms then fill them by hand or its okay to type it then print it answered ?
2- in the section where he asks : Give details of your employment for the past 10 years. Do not leave gaps. If retired, not working or studying, please indicate. They are giving only three columns to fill in but I need at least 5 columns how can I create more space ?? Or add columns
3-also they are asking about my current status in the country , currently I'm a worker , I have to put from to date , so what do I put in "to" the expiry of my residency permit in the country or current date??

2. Check if there is a button in the PDF to add more rows (lower right hand side of the table), or just attached a new sheet with the correct headers.

Ya but like how recent it should be from the time I requested for it, I got mine 10 days ago is that okay or it's old?
