Hi,

I am trying to fill out the online checklist to get my Bridging Open Work Permit [BOWP] and I am stuck on a question:

"Have you been told by a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?"

Now, I have got an email from CIO (Centralized Intake Office) stating my application is considered 'complete' based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulations 10 of Immigration and refuge Protection Act (IRPA).
They also mention that my application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.
That's about it. The subject line of that email is 'Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (PNP)'

I have read many posts stating that they have received an AOR and hence would like to answer YES to the "Have you been told by a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?" question. I also read on this forum that they have now made the AORs obsolete. Is that true?

Is the email which I got an AOR?

What should I answer to the "Have you been told by a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?" question?

Please help!

Thanks!
