filling out form about my education

Hello,

I am applying for CEC this month. Besides working with a work permit I have been completing an online degree at an American university .


I am sure i don't need a study permit as the school is not Canadian and I have personally asked at the CIC office in my town.

Now, I started filling out the forms and I am worried that can appear a little confusing if i list my online masters degree in the education section, for location i have put ONLINE. Should i put an explanation letter stating that this was an online degree completed during my time here but was from an American university?

I think you should be fine. Just attach a letter explaining your masters is an online program from an American university. You can also mention that you checked with CIC and they said a study permit is not necessary.
