Filling IMM5406 Additional Family Information

Hi

I had filed for the sponsorship of my Parents in Family Class and I am at the stage where they request the IMM5406 form from Both the parents and have finally opened the file. My parents have visited Canada earlier on Visitor Visa in 2012, and also in 2007 and I am not sure of the information they entered for their Bothers and sisters ( Address DOB etc) . So now when I am filling the form again I don't have a copy of the old ones to match so I am filling it to the most accurate info I have on hand. Can there be an issue or will CIC be comparing the old Visitor form ( if it was submitted ever) with this new one and create an issue and make them inadmissible on not putting the matching information.

does the form require their signature? if so, you can't sign for them.

if it doesn't, there's no issue if you fill it out for them. for all CIC knows they can be in the room with you while you are fliing it out. i filled out my forms and my husbands, and CIC never said anything about it. since you do want the information to match, i would suggest getting in touch with your parents and asking them for their sibling information. if the information is all of a sudden different or not complete, then I would think THAT could caus some issue with CIC. It's not something you want to gamble on.
