Hello,

Is there any benefit in filing your immigration through Attorney ?? Does it reduce some time ??

Or directly apply through email to the CIC ??

Please advise.

It reduces time if
- you have no idea about the process and do not want to know
- you don't like search on the internet
- you don't like to read the immigration information
- your case is too complicated
- you have enough $$ and you are willing to benefit a lawyer with your $$$ :))

Most people, including me, would recommend you to file the application yourself. Take the time and read the instructions and take the time to review the document list to make sure you have all the supporting documents. This will save you big money!

Using an attorney can save you time you would otherwise be using to study up on the immigration process and might save you worry that you are not filling something out wrong. However, it costs money and you need to research attorneys to find out who is good and who is for real and who is a scam artist.

Doing it yourself, even if it's a bit more work puts the control in your hands, not somebody elses.

The process with immigration will not be faster if you use an attorney.
