Why don't you ask your husband how much he thinks he earned in 2016.

not sure if he will know all of that
But my main concern is how will this affect my benefits?

Gst/hst credit, CCB (if you have kids), and other benefits will be affected as your status and household income changed.

Ok the amount he makes is not much really
He worked jan-may 2016
Then oct-dec 2016

I will try to fig how much it comes to in Canadian funds

Makes me wonder why his very small income would impact my benefits, he make just enough for himself,
Is it even worth reporting his income even? I find it ridiculous that, money i do not get, would affects my benefits.

I phoned CRA last april 2016 to update my name and status and informed them my husband does not live in canada
They never told me i had to file this CB65 form this website mentions
Its very confusing. Seems CRA doesnt really care to inform people properly

No need for that form as you already called them, I changed my status in myaccount.

Thanks for reminding me i will verify My Account as well
