Hello all,
I need some help guys, I got married in 2015 and my spouse joined me in 2016 here in Canada. She is on a open work permit and i am on a post graduate open work permit. Our married life is not working out. We both are frustrated. She is sitting home doing nothing from the time she came to Canada and till now. I am paying all the bills and paying for all the expenses.
I am looking to file divorce in our home country India.
But our permanent residence application is in process. She in not interested in becoming PR.
My concern is if we go back to India and file divorce, and if that process exceeded the time and in between cic asked for medicals, what should i do.
She would be very happy if my PR got cancelled or rejected and that is what i am concerned about!!
I am the principal applicant.
Please help

You can apply for a Canadian divorce since you have been living here for over a year. You would then have to amend your PR application.
