Hi dear fellows,

Can someone guide me in the following situation?

BACKGROUND SCENARIO:
I came to Canada as PR in 2014. My first wife had some issues, she did all the medicals but did not come with me. I went back to my country the same year and divorced her.

I remarried and stayed in my country for some years and have three kids from my second wife. I left the idea of moving back to Canada. But now I have been in Canada for almost 4 months.

QUESTION:
How can I file my first divorce and then add my new wife and three children to my PR status? It all happened after landing and then moving back to my country. I have twin daughters and a son from my second wife.

You will need to provide IRCC with motorized English translations of the divorce documents from your home country when you sponsor your current wife and family. You will also need to remain in Canada while the application is processed (about 12months). The one thing to watch is that when you submit the application, you meet residency obligation on the day you apply. If you don’t, they will refuse the application and start revocation of your status.

Based on the information you have provided, you don't meet the residency requirement at this time. This means you will have to wait until you have lived in Canada for another 20 months and meet the residency requirement before you will be able to sponsor your family for PR.

Thanks for the suggestions.

But is it possible that my second wife can come to Canada filing her own separate express entry case?

Yes - she can certainly apply through Express Entry. Note that she won't get any points for you since you are already Canadian.
