Hi Magar

Right now you don't need to worry. In the future, when they ask to show POF, then you need to show new POF. Normally, they ask for updated funds with medicals, but not always.

For the last one month they are processing the applications transferred from 1st March to 3rd March 2010. It is taking too much time. Can't see any movement for March 10.

Any idea why the delay?

Hope this year 2011, they will speed up the process.

Hi

Only CHC,ND can explain the delay. All of us are just making assumptions.
These delays are creating unnecessary pressure on all of us...though ofcourse the fruit will be sweeter. but the million dollar question is how long must we wait?
And I think the validity of IELTS / TEF certs.being extended to two years may be because CHC must be thinking of going slow on applications as they also have decided to clear the backlog of pre-2008 applications.And extending the validity to 2 years is just to give us a false sense of security to us knowing fully well that all of us will wait...wait...wait...inspite of delays.
What CHC should have done is to stop receiving applications for 6 months to try to process and clear a majority of applications. The situation presently is that applications are starting to pile up again...with 10 months being taken to just Pick up an application and decide whether it is eligible or not. Not Professionalism at all!!!!
What will we do if CHC were to decide today that it would clear the backlog of pre 2008 and keep us on hold?

We have no alternative but to air our views. Hoping for the best for all of us and would be applicants.

One of the reasons for the delay could be student intake and holiday season in December.

Hope things would speed up now.

CIIP session will be held in CHANDIGARH on 1st Feb, 2011. Anyone interested to attend that session can call at 011-30614608 to get enrolled.

Online database is not working, so you need to call the above mentioned number to get a seat in the session..

I read on some other thread here that they got call from ND CHC for CIIP program. Maybe it will be same in your case.

CIIP program is for people who received at least medical kit and for people at later stages
