Many congrats DELHI INDIAN... You are going be Canadian in a few years

Dear Seniors,

I need your suggestion on this.

I am pre june 2010 applicant having AEO...

My ftd is 02 apr 2010 and I sent full docs on 14 apr 2010. 2nd AOR is 19 Apr 2010.

After a long wait I ordered CAIPS and I got it yesterday.

It says CPIC crim requested. "NO CONCERNS" on criminal check.

and my next b'fd is 01-09-2011.

MY ECAS is In Process with RBVO.

Now does this mean they started processing my application? THey requested for criminal check and got clean record.

If they requested to for CPIC, it means processing has started on your application.

Just hang in there. All the best!

Congrats & good luck...

regards
Mayank

Hi Friends,

I have received my passport back from CIC with Visa on it. I am a Pre June applicant having visa office of New Delhi but my file started processing before that news of further delay for Pre June cases came. It was a long Journey and my case was not very simple. I was also called for an interview also. One thing is for sure if your case is genuine followed by genuine documentation; you will get your visa.

I have not decided as to when to go to Canada as I am doing fine here in India. Let's see what comes next. Thank you all for your support and guidance. I will still be a regular member of this forum.

All the best to all but especially to Pre June applicant cases as I have special corner for them. GOD BLESSES ALL.

All FSW2 applicant are hung by CIC, dont u think Tarak? ::)

In our email they clearly told us they wanted to send medicals after receiving updated information. We sent updated form immediately, 2months and nothing happening.

Dear Manek

I dont think so they put FSW2 application hold.

I am sure it is just student visa flow. Even in parlament speech David Manicom cleared that during summer they move Economic category visa officers to TRV dept.

I am sure we'll see some movement very soon from early september like last year.

Just hang in there and stay positive.

CONGRATULATIONS Delhi Indian. It is really reassuring to see Pre-June applicants moving ahead in the line.

I just wanted to know, after you get the VISA, how much time do you get, during which you need to go to Canada? That is, is there a time limit, after which the PR VISA expires if you delay going to Canada for some reason?

@hiteshanand

I know they are processed separately but, check my older posts... In one of the posts I did put the speech of Mr. David Manicom (Program Manager for India, Nepal and Bhutan). He clearly mentioned in a parliament session held in Ottawa during month of May that, at CHC, ND they receive high volume of TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) applications during summer. This is very seasonal hence; they cross train their staff to locate in different departments.

CHC, Nd has 13 officers for Federal Skilled worker category cases and for 2-3 months in summers 7 of them are switched to TRV department.

usually, they give one year of time i.e., within one year of stamping of visa you need to land.

If you don't land in this period by law, you have to apply again for PR under FSW. If you noc is not listed at that time then you are in big trouble. It is considered as a new application.

It was the similar situation last year too... but, it started moving sometime in september... I think mid september...

There is one point though, last year CHC,ND received more than 11,000 applications for student visa but, this year they were to accept maximum 7000 applications only. I believe we should start hearing good news in a couple of weeks.
