My ecas turned to "In Process" on the 26th Jan. Later on they posted that the processing started on the "31st March". I'm amazed and concerned that it has been 97 days since processing started (65 business days). How come the CHC ND isnt able to finish processing the file in such a long time? How much longer it may take?

Its really good that you have a processing date.
My ecas(along will lot of others) turned to in process on 26th Jan and there is no processing date.

Try sending Case specific inquiry/general inquiry or better order CAIPS.
Your medical request should come in 1 or 2 months or even earlier.

... my Ecas is not updated yet. It still shows the old details only. May be it will get updated in the next 2-3 days.

My case is similar to that of CanadianCountry. My ecas status is in-process with processing start date as 21st Feb 2011. Still, havent heard anything.
