well dear..its still couple of months remaining...lets see..thanks.

by the way..which city you r planning to GO??

hi johnny

if i get the visa, then i am interested in going to BARRIE, a small, quite, peaceful and extremely beautiful and clean city in the province of ONTARIO, just 45 mins of drive UP NORTH OF TORONTO. thus u can live in a quite peaceful city and also never be too far away from the financial capital of CANADA. which is TORONTO.
what about u, where do u intend to land ?

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone tell me what would be validity of PR visa . I mean time frame from visa issue to expire date.
Is it vary from case to case or any default timelimits..

Hi Jassi Bhai

Just curious to know, can you tell me how does the COPR look like. Does it contain your NOC or just your personal details?

@hiteshdand...

well..i hvn't decided which place is better for PTs.?
but i think most of the people went to Toronto, or nearby like missisuga.

I have another option of Vancouver, as my cousin has some connection there..he himself a Canadian, but shifted back to India..i donno whts wrong with him...he is saying when i go to Canada, he will again shift there..anyhow.

Other place of my liking is Calgary..but its quite cold..

But as per my research, Toronto is better place as you find lot of job opportunities both for PTs and other surviving jobs...

All the best dear...May you find PT job straightaway..please remain in touch.

thanks

hi johny
i hope that this wait for the visa does not keep on extending. it is becoming really unbearable. i hope we all get the visas very soon.
i am shocked that your canadian cousin shifted back to india. hopefully he will go back once u reach canada.
one thing is for sure. U NEED TO HAVE A HEART OF STEEL AND AN IRON LIKE DETERMINATION AND WILLPOWER TO SETTLE AND SUCCEED IN A CHILLED FREEZER LIKE CANADA. BUDDY, IT IS NOT EVERYBODY'S CUP OF TEA
inspite of your canadian cousin being a CITIZEN of canada, he does not have any reason to MOVE TO INDIA. this goes to prove that CANADA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
definitely we will keep in touch when we land in canada.
this wait is killing everyone. GOD PLEASE HELP US
REGARDS
HITESH

found this info on orkut................

DECIDING ON PROVINCES/CITIES FOR NEW IMMIGRANTS.
We all know that, canada is a very vast country with various geo-climatic conditions,economic-job conditions, with culturally-linguistically distinct societies/communities from province to province and its not easy to relocate from province to province or city to city, owing to its large geographical spread.
There fore, it is quiet important to decide in advance regarding our target province/city for a considerable duration of stay for which we may need to make an indepth & wide study( as even, we need to mention our destination province in initial Application it self) so,I Ask all the perspective immigrants to contribute their experience/resources in helping others to wards finding their dream destination in canada,,,Thank you.
Here is a bit of info, as per my knowledge
Good jobs/Low tax ; Alberta (Calgary-Red deer-Edmonton belt)
Warm weather/Beautiful Landscape ; Lower mainland British Columbia.
Jobs/urban lifestyle /multicultural society ; Toronto.
European atmosphere/culture/Entertainment ; Montreal.
Calm,small town feel,friendly ppl : Atlantic canada(Halifax,moncton)
Prairie landscape,widespread,lakes : saskachewan.
Be close to US borders ; Lower ontario(Surrounding great Lakes)
Educational institution & Govt, jobs; Ottawa.
French life style ; Quebec

# correct if found false.

@ Johny...

hi, your file transfer date is 9 may so might will get your medical in next two months...
mine and your noc is same, i got my in process on 10 may tuesday...if you go through this forum and other forum you will come to know that they are processing files on noc+transfer date...see yoshi and bugs have same noc bugs got his visa, he was on 3 march and then yoshi is on 10th march she got her medical last week so visa will arrive soon...
Initially i was thinking that they are going through submition date but if you she yoshi sent her document before bugs and bugs and mine is in same month (submition date).. then too yoshi and me in line and bugs got visa, and even one of my friend who had transfered to delhi on 24 march and sent his document in july that is after me, even he got his inprocees on 11 may....this clearly shows they are not going through submition date they are going through noc+transfer date....

And i think they have started with new standard reply without checking you ecas i got this answer on 11 may wednesday after i got inprocess on 10 may..
Even my friend got the same answer on same day...
