I am a silent visitor of this blog. Sharing couple of things with you.
I ordered CAIPS file from lawpoint.ca on 5th march and within 45 days I received the same. I summarize the step by step procedure as per mentioned in the CAIPS file for my application. Hope it helps to understand the things in a better way.In CAIPS file they also mentioned about your status queries and answers etc.(which I did not mention in below steps)

1>Received file in nova scotia on 31-DEC-2010
2>On 27-FEB-2010 NOC code eligibility completed by nOva scotia CHC and file send to delhi office and emailed to me to submit the Full file to CHC new delhi within 120 days
3>Full file received on 23-June-2010 -> New file no is assigned and emailed to me the same.
4>file fwd to ICR
5>ICR--> file fwd to ECU [File sent to ECU through registry staff]
6>IELTS score verify online (match the photos as well )
7>CHC New delhi verfied experience documents and missing documents if any.[If missing they will inform you]
8>File ready for officer's review
9>File LOC : PA BF to: FRR
10>To APA for review
11>C-50 SW Assessment on 30-NOV-2010 "Status changed IN PROCESS"
12>Details observed by the officer regarding you and your family .They put comments about the employment,family and points eligibility.They also verified about the institutes and industries ,school colleges names over the internet.
13>BAsed on the review by the officer.He put his comments to verify the employment history.
14>They will also verify your employment,genuine exp and minimum points (67) to qualify as skilled worker. Only then they will see about the funds mentioned by you.
15>criminal check passed. They check your police verification certificate.
16>Paper screening decission passed till 30-NOV-2010 before status changed to "IN PROCESS"
17>PENDING :

Employment verification by AFU
RPRF X 2
MEDS X 3 (me/spouse/child)
PPTs when medical have been completed

18>Order to AFU to verify the employment and update to CHC.
19> 21-DEC-2010 -> Verification is pending by AFU
20>Employment verified on 23-MAR-2011 from one organisation
21>Employment verified on 26-MAR-2011 from 2nd organisation (AFU followed up 2 times to get the answer from my 2nd organisation)
22>File B'FD EVR on 03-April-2011

Seems my medical are on the way.Hope to receive the same in this week or eod the month.

It seems from the gpssim's post that ALL PAPER SCREENING process gets complete before they update ecas to IN PROCESS.
So all those ppl who have got IN PROCESS shall be getting their MR soon or it is delayed only because their employment inquiry is left.
Its seems to me like this from gpssim's post.

So, no chances of employer verification or something else if you got MR and PP request, right?

but manish what about the people who got interview after MR...as a matter of fact i remember there was a person who got interview after submitting the passport they held his passport for 6 months and then he recd an interview letter...there was a guy who took medical and was called for an interview and he was rejected after the interview....

So looks like there is nothing left to verify the day they dispatch MR??

So, no chances of employer verification or something else if you got MR and PP request, right?

Hmmm.. thats where experience of senior members like yours counts.. as you have seen more cases you know more odds of the system..
So now I think there is no stage of the immigration process where you can see surity of success till the moment we received PP back with visa.. I will keep this in mind buddy..

Well guys address appearing and disappearing is quite a thing....but in my opinion it does mean something...and it is happening quite regularly then i would say be hopeful.....Jassi's address disappeared for about 2 weeks and his visa came ....my address went missing 3 times the VISA didn't come....then it went missing for good one week and status changed as a matter of fact the address came back today again after 2 weeks.....i have recd the VISA.....what i think the address goes because you have your BFD in that week......if they work on the file good otherwise address come back......if your address is playing hide and seek regularly then i guess they are giving you smaller BFD'd and you may get the VISA soon.....it happened with me ....before getting the VISA my address was going almost every alternate week.......

I may be wrong this is just an assumption after observing things on the forum....

I experienced it after sending the passport....It starting after about 4 months of sending the passports...but i strongly feel it has something to do wth BFD's

my adress also diapear for one day and then today it apears on my status and i have did my medical on 26th of jan 2011 and after that on 10th of march 2011 they demand documents for my marriage relationship docs and sent the docs on 3 april 2011 and then hide and seek process starts 3 days back and now they are showing the adress on my status and but my status is still IN PROCESS can u suggest me further what can they do (can they demand for any other docs or they will change my status)thankz

CAIPS is useful only after you are in process before that the info provided to you is already known to you

Instead send them a case specific inquiry email.It Might help in speeding up things as in case of many applicants
