Thanks,

Pls. send them a case specific inquiry. If your In Process has a date, then definitely they must have sent something to you....like a letter or medicals.

Send an inquiry right away....

Hi yukon,

Thanks for replying, How I can send the Case specific enquiry, is it via email or general post.

FYI,
Last week I ordered for CAIPS ,it will take another 40 days to reach me.

Thanks.

It is through the CIC website, an e-mail to ND VO.

Use this link:

Good that you ordered CAIPS, that will give you a clear picture of your file.

Hi All,

My status got changed to 'In process' today. The address part has disappeared and the inside details are still the same as RBVO.

Regards,
Sakhi.

Congrats Sakhi !!!!

All the best for the next stage.

Visa Office does the following screening on your application:

1. PSEDC; Paper Selection Decision (Review of the documents submitted)
2. SELDEC; Selection Decision (Prior to issue of Medicals & Passports request)
3. FINDEC; Final Decision (Issue of Visa post medicals, background & security checks)

So most likely all the people who are getting In Process without processing dates have cleared only PSDEC & not SELDEC. Once you clear SELDEC, you will get the processing date.

This is purely my interpretation & may or may not be true.

Thanks yukon,

I send the Case specific enquiry and following note I got on the screen.Lets see when I'll get the reply.

FYI,
Case Specific Enquiry
Your enquiry has been sent to the visa office processing your application. You should receive a reply within 28 working days (by email, regular mail or fax).

If your application is within normal processing times you may not receive a reply from the visa office.

If your message contains new information for your application (e.g. adding a newborn or change of address) your file will be updated but the visa office may not respond to your email.

Thanks,

@yukon,

It is true... Actually PSEDC is done within 2 months of full docs submitted.

Hi Matlal,

Thanks for your wishes. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Changing ECAS to "In Process" is not a bug but, It does not even mean that they have started processing on our applications unless details inside does not show the date of processing started

Hi Yukon,

Thanks for the interpretation. I guess now its 'wait and watch' game.

Hi Tarakrs,

I agree with you 100%. Hence I feel kind of numb even though my status shows 'In process' since the inside details are still the same.

Sakhi.

Is there anyone here who have their status changed to 'In process' today with the processing date mentioned inside???

Regards,
Sakhi.
