+1 to Yukon for posting great links on this forum. It was very informative.

In fact my point of view is the same.

Canadian embassies across the world are migrating towards a new process along with standardization. This will reduce confusion and processing time and maybe getting of new PR card and Canadian Passports too.

Roseapple's post may or maynot be true but it raises a valid issue. When fast track option was introduced all the older applicants(i.e. in backlog) were given less priority than post Feb 2008. So there are high chances that Post 26 June applicants are given priority over the older ones after all these professions are more in demand.
Lets not get depressed though as most of march file transfer cases are in process. So our cases won't get as delayed as pre Feb 2008

Best of luck to all!!!

You may be right about this, but I am sure CIC does not want another backlog !!
As rightly said, they have no more then 4-5 months (mostly, except London) of pre-26 June/post 28 Nov. 2008 applications to process, so they will no break the queue as of now. Most Visa Offices except Manila have not even yet received the File Transfers of the post 26 June applicants from CIO, Sydney.

Truthseeker4pr...Each CHC office has their own way ofworking....In ND office till last March 2010 the process was done as per the date of submission of docs, Now my bad luck i have sent it on April 1st week and still hanging on...most of the march guys have landed 6 months back...when i received my second aor...it said if i didn't receive any info within 3 months from ND CHC..I can contact them...but now in letter it straight away says 8 months...and the same 8 months i saw in post 26 june....
therefore we can't conclude anything unless we get visa in our hand....no assumptions and presumptions....

Dear Mayank, Yukon. If roseapple08 made the fictious story than god knows but I was banking on what he/she reported on the forum.

dear all,
I submited two applications with the same NOC because some errors in first one, one is pre626, the other is post626. My Visa office asked me to withdraw one and said post626 gets priority. I got 2nd AOR for the first one, and still waiting for PER for the second one. Does anyone have experiences for this? Please advise! Best wishes to all.

Thank you, Sapana.
That is a minor mistake. I refilled the application forms, explained for the error, and sent with the full supportive documents to the VO. The 2nd AOR has already issued. The visa officer asked me to withdraw one otherwise they won't process my case, and said post626 gets priority. I have to decide which one I like to withdraw. It really makes me hestate for that. I expect I'll get the PER soon for the second one (based on the post626 thread in this forum). However, I still need to apply the FBI PCC again, that is another two months' waiting. I need to make a choice as soon as possible, hope I hit the right one, with my fingercross.

Hello Cam,
Thanks for reply.
I got the PER for my post626 application from CIO this morning. Now, time to make a final decision.
The visa officer contacted with me by phone, the lady is nice. she said that she asked her superior and got the answer. First priority is post626. We never know their logic.

Hello Everyone....

I am also very confused and not able to guess even as how CHC ND is working...
My File t/f date is 14 April 2010....and till now the ecas is showing RBVO whereas the 2nd AOR states " Contact visa office if you don't hear from them after 3 months and average 8 months will take to process your case"

Regards
