GAV onething is for sure their is some problem with the system...cause lots of people are reporting some changes which should not be their in their e-cas....does it mean that VO is just sitting idle and doing nothing or suddenly their will be a rush....god knows...but just my thought to cheer u all....

This is my interpretation of what has been happening since the last month & reading this forum. Pls. see this link. That's why I used the words "probably".

@Gav,

I agreed to yukon. As it is already given in report submitted by CIC in parliament ,that till approx. March 2011 they will shift to New GCMS from older CAIPS.

Mayank

Laklak...I guess Yukon may be right here....moving from one system to another can bring this kind of delay....being a person associated with process improvements and revamps...i know movement or transitions are done in a way which ensures work is not taking a hit....but with chc it is possible.....lets see jahan itna wait kiya march bhi aane waala hai....

Dear laklak,

I appreciate the fun, but you missed my previous post on this thread, here it is for you, I clearly meant it for TAIPAI applicant. Still policies are same for any CHC.

@ all,

the way CHC is processing pre june 26 2010 applications at the moment, we are surely LEFT HUNG OUT TO DRY.
This is pathetic strategy by CHC. One applicant from Taipai got reply from her visa officer that
Post june 26 applicants will get the priority processing.

First of all Visa Officers would never commit such a thing so openly or on phone.
Secondly you can have two simultaneous applications running at the same time, you don't have to close one. Lots of threads on this forum have conveyed this information.

Only when either one of the applications reach the stage for medicals, then they would ask you to close one application & not suggest that you close "this" one or "that". But obvious choice would be the one that is not yet processed !!

So this information should be taken with a pinch of salt !

I Agreed to you.

Even there is applicant " prash_patel " also having 2 files . One under Backlog & other one in Fast Track. He never got any response from VO. Infact he withdraw old file after getting VISA under new .

Mayank

Dear Yukon,

I sincerely hope I am wrong here, otherwise it would be very difficult to wait for so long as we have seen with Old Applicants(before 2008 applicants).

Many of post june 26 applicants e case status is INPROCESS but I hope here it is an error(No offence meant to anybody), and we (pre june 26) still fall under Priority Processing.

CIC has not come out with any processing times for post 26 June applicants, so their is no way of knowing what will be the time-frame for processing of those applications.
However for pre-26 June & post 28 Feb 2008 their is a well defined processing time, so go by that & trust CIC. !!

dear all,
I submited two applications with the same NOC because some errors in first one, one is pre626, the other is post626. My Visa office asked me to withdraw one and said post626 gets priority. I got 2nd AOR for the first one, and still waiting for PER for the second one. Does anyone have experiences for this? Please advise! Best wishes to all.

Thank you, Sapana.
That is a minor mistake. I refilled the application forms, explained for the error, and sent with the full supportive documents to the VO. The 2nd AOR has already issued. The visa officer asked me to withdraw one otherwise they won't process my case, and said post626 gets priority. I have to decide which one I like to withdraw. It really makes me hestate for that. I expect I'll get the PER soon for the second one (based on the post626 thread in this forum). However, I still need to apply the FBI PCC again, that is another two months' waiting. I need to make a choice as soon as possible, hope I hit the right one, with my fingercross.

Hello Cam,
Thanks for reply.
I got the PER for my post626 application from CIO this morning. Now, time to make a final decision.
The visa officer contacted with me by phone, the lady is nice. she said that she asked her superior and got the answer. First priority is post626. We never know their logic.

If this member received her PER 1 day back, how did the Taipei office know beforehand that she also has a post 26 June application? That was a perfect premonition !! & a very fast file transfer!!!
Her first application has no record whatsoever of the post 26 June application since it is pre dated wrt to the second application. So how does Taipei know about it??
