I have just recived a medical request from CHC New Delhi to submit passport and medical report from DMP within 45 days.
I have a dependent child whose passport was issued in 3-March-2008. In the letter recived CHC has requested the photograph in the passport should not be more than 3 yrs old. Can some one please clarify the following:

A) Photograph of child in passport should not be more than 3 yrs on which date - 1) the date medical was requested 2) the date passport would be summited to CHC or 3) the date when VISA will be issued? -

B) Can my child go for the medical with is current passport and then apply for a new passport (Via Tatkal) - and submit both passport to CHC.

Help in clarifying the above would be much appreciated.

Go for a new PP. This question comes onli if Pic in PP is almost 3 years old and I would suggest taking chance

B) Can my child go for the medical with is current passport and then apply for a new passport (Via Tatkal) - and submit both passport to CHC.
Yes. Apply for new Tatkal PP and medicals can be done on existing PP> I Did the same for my daughter

Help in clarifying the above would be much appreciated.

Hi All,

October applicants are getting IN PROCESS status, dont know if there is an error in E-CAS. Some of them just got first AOR and their E-Cas is showing IN PROCESS and medicals received. Dont know what is going on.

What is Next step after INPROCESS.....As i have read in some other Blogs that after INPROCESS Status,the file was handed to outside agencies for verification purpose .

Does this verification include Background checks,Employement Checks etc.

This may be the reason there was no update and still it is showing the APPLICATION IS PENDING REVIEW...

Reading 6.5 ---- 4 Points
Writing 5.5 ---- 2 Points
Speaking 7 ---- 4 points

Overall Band 6.5

so i got 12 points from it.

How this score is for NOC :3131 ?? As i with this i am sure to get my 67 points.

The Ecas system has developed some bug worldwide.. people are getting Medical request after 1st AOR, A guy in colombo had his Ecas blanked out without any details..not sure at all reg our In process.. no verification call as well.. seems like its end of the world as we know it.. esp for us..God Help us... some light might be shed on this on Tuesday hopefully...

no you got only 10 points , you have to have 7.5 to get full points from reading

Today i got my IELTS result.

Listening 6.5 --- 2 Points
Reading 6.5 ---- 4 Points
Writing 5.5 ---- 2 Points
Speaking 7 ---- 4 points

Overall Band 6.5

so i got 12 points from it.

How this score is for NOC :3131 ?? As i with this i am sure to get my 67 points.

IELTS: New assessment grid has been introduced for IELTS which is explained below:
Level Points (per ability) Test results for each ability

You get 12 points buddy.

no jassi he's right. he has got 12 points. Only listening requires 7.5 bands to claim 4 points.

The score seems to be good but, it depends on your job duties. If your job duties require proficiency in language then, it may cause some trouble but, I still think you have got good score and you should be fine.
