Today, I have got a call from CHC, New Delhi.
My husband received the call. A lady on other side asked (in punjabi) from my husband about my pregnancy and my ability to travel till 20 Jan.
she asked for a recommendation from my gynae. also asked if we had talked/ asked any airline which will allow me to travel.
My husband said as soon as we get visa we will fly; there would be no problem in that..
then she said , send us a letter with confirmation of travelling by your doctor and we will see and decide to grant visa till 20/1/2011 or withhold it till delivery (as my EDD is in the end of April,2011).

Seems CHC is reviewing ours (not only me but all of us who had sent their pp's) medical results and will issue visas in Jan...

Update from my side with the grace of Guru Nanak I received Medical .No FBI clearance was asked by CHC New Delhi for my Spouse I was worried a lot about that.I have to wait 50 days for medical after INPROCESS

I checked with my bank and came to know that DD was encashed on 3rd Nov. At least bit confirmation that they've received my documents and started processing towards VISA stamping.

If there will be no update tomorrow then seems like it will go into next month. This wait is very very frustrating

Vicky it seems the VISA officer who has January 27th File transfer files is on a long vacation.....expect him/her to come back in january only that too second week so by mid of january expect your VISA ... .i am doing the same ;D

Amardeep veere my story is kind of similar.....wanted to go to Liverpool for studies....got the VISA...dad said no....so scrapped....then pataofied dad for la trobe university melbourne......problem in education loan because of which VISA filing date passed....then after some time filed PR for Australia.....everything done even Visa interview....they introduced priority processing and then later on capping....my application came out of capping so no PR to aussie...the only good thing happened inthe middle was went to UAE for job.....now waiting for canada.....waiting for the chance buddy but really frustated.....thanks for the wishes brother

Today I too got reply from CHC on query raised... although they refused to provide me any info and asked to raise fresh enquiry through consusltant authorised by me. Imran got the status changed... May be they are operational today.

Gav, Our processing dates are almost similar, in fact you submitted your PP few days earlier than me. I am hopeful we will get our VISA soon and then will meet in Canada
