VO may be working at the same pace but we know very few people here who got their status updated.

There may be lot of ppl who would have got their status changed but they might not be on this forum.

This is really discouraging...only 2 in process....does any body have any idea why this week ND VO was so slow?

As CHC has sent me an Email stating that '' Some kinds of Background Checks are being conducted on my application and thy can not give exact time on when will it be completed and also no action is needed frm myside''
1. Can I guess that even security checks also lies inside it?
2. Can I expect that my application has reached in little bit safe zone ?
3. As my IN Process was updated on 10 May010 when can I expect for Medicals?

Nobody can predict this, my case also in in process since 6th july almost 4 months now.
we dont know how much time it gonna take.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on October 18, 2010.

Yes, as Mr. singh said, it is not possible to predict on this.... This process can go for from few weeks to several months.... It varies from case to case.... To get a rough idea you need to order CAIPS notes which will have your BF'D and from that we can predict something..... I had suggested this to bnimism and he told me a BF'D and then we had predict something and meds were came in that period only.... so, you are in the same boat too.

I do have a foreign travel history. Is it going to take more time if you have foreign travel history ?

It may have impact if u have travel history to Gulf countries, I am not sure at all about this, its raw information.
