File transfer from Buffalo- New york visa office- share timeline

i did my medical on 12 nov and i ask my Dmp for tracking number they said it takes 3 -4 weeks to get reports and they ask me to call for tracking number after 3 weeks ..is this time line normal or wht ?

i did my medical in toronto and the place where i went for chest xray they said me that they will send the report in a week to dmp .

can anybosy suggest me is this normal?>

I did my Med in NYC, Xray result was delivered after 1 day to DMP. and it took DMP 7-10 business days for ship the package and give me the tracking number. After 2 days of shipping, Ottawa received my Med Results. I think that my timelines for Med here are fast...

Congratulations! Not sure how CIC/NY office is going to update my status. I did Med about the same time as yours but I mentioned our expecting baby in Feb and the Med results were not comlete (no X-ray for my wife).

I was using Fedex express and it reached Ottawa around Sep 25-ish.
I am expected to get PPR sometime around January. I guess I'm the first batch of application to get PPR from NYVO the next year...

i have submitted my application to the Buffalo office in January 2010. They forwarded my file to the New York office on 24th Feb. 2010 and i submitted my medicals on 28th may 2010.

Seems like the New York Office did not recieve the medicals from the Ottawa office until September 30,2010 which I saw online on the Application Status.

I have now been waiting for getting the letter for submission of my passport for the visa stamping for 5 months. I have sent lots of fax to New York office but have not recieved any sort of updates from them. I would appreciate if anyone can help me provide me some sort of alternate way of contacting the New York office to get the update. There is no other way I know of contacting the New York office except for FAX which is becoming a big concern for me.

My work permit is expiring in feb 2011 and hence I need my PR asap.

Please guys I would really appreciate some help.

keep in mind though that if your application is within the processing time, you may not get a reply.

for me transfer to NYC was on July 14, in process Sept. 07, no news after that.

svs....I got it by post.

They had a letter, some instructions and a form that I had to give to my DMP.
The DMP made me fill out a questionnaire asking about my medical history, measure my height, weight, blood pressure, took a chest X-ray, some samples of my blood and urine and did a simple eye exam to see if I could read a chart with my corrective lenses on.
According to the form they gave me, they do a Urinalysis for proteins, glucose, blood & serum creatinine levels, Blood test for Hepatitis B, HIV and Syphillis. In the chest x-ray they look for any problems with skeletal & soft tissue, great vessel & heart shadows, lymphatic glands, lung fields, TB lesions and fibrosis or fibrocalcification. They also asked me about my smoking and drinking habits and whether I take any illegal drugs.
I paid USD $365 and was told that they would be mailing out the results in 2 weeks. During the whole process, the doctor and 2 nurses asked me why I wanted to move to Canada...I'm not sure what that was all about
Hope this gives you guys an idea of what to expect for the medical exam.
