File tax after April 30

Hi,

Just ask a question for my friend. He is an International student but for some reason his study permit doesn't allow he to work in Canada. Therefore he can't obtain a SIN. Instead, he applies for ITN, which may takes 4 to 6 weeks to get it. He might get his ITN after the deadline of filing tax. Is it a big deal?

Not really unless he has to PAY income tax, if not it is fine.
