File-Review Temporarily Suspended for Everyone

A million thanks for your prompt response. In my own case, got a file review from ICAC in September 2024 but now scheduled for hearing. So, is it an expedite hearing as noted on IRB website that cases deemed for review earlier will now go through expedite hearing?..thank you in anticipation of your prompt response

From what I understand, yes, that is most likely an expedited hearing.

The IRB recently updated the less-complex process, and many claims that were previously in file review are now being redirected to short/expedited hearings instead of getting a paper-based decision only.

So if your case was already identified as less complex or selected for file review before, the hearing you received now may simply be the new expedited process the IRB is talking about.

By the way, when did they schedule your hearing?
