Hello everyone. Today I got an email regarding owp. I am sponsor and they are asking for my passport as mine old one is expired so that they will give me workpermit but the thing is I am permanent resident and I am sponsoring my wife. When I tried to connect online using my UCI and it got connected and it is showing me as a primary applicant. So I don't know what to do now

Either IRCC or your application is mistakenly stated you as the primary applicant instead of sponsor.
They won't issue a sponsor a work permit because you are already a PR!! So things doesn't make sense.
You need to call them ASAP to correct this mistake. Your spouse would need a current/valid passport for them to issue a work permit and I am assuming that you are applying inland.

If you have copies of your app, check to see if you made a mistake and listed yourself as PA.
