Hi guys,
I am thinking to CALL immigration about marriage fraud against my spouse. Just wondering if its worth my time.
Here is the short story got married in 2015 applied for my spouse and our file came back cuz method of payment was wrong then after a month went back to india. Stayed in india for 4 months explained everything to my spouse and both parents what actually happened. came back to canada after 4 months hired consultant to file for sponsorship. Everything was alright but my spouse stopped talking to my parents refused to come home to meet them and i tried to call her and stopped picking my phone. I tried every month to get hold of her but never got replied back till last month when my relatives talked with my spouse and my spouse is like i changed my mind and i moved on.
So just wondering should i really go for marriage fraud case is it worth my time OR there are other options need advice
Thanks

are you the sponsor ? and is the application still in Process ? If the application still in Process , call or message immigration to withdraw it and cancel the process .

Yes, if the application is still being processed, let CIC and the visa office know that you want to cancel it because your marriage has broken down.
If your wife has already received the PR visa, but has not yet landed in Canada, you can contact CIC to say you do not want to sponsor anymore. They will usually cancel at this stage.

If she has not yet come to Canada, then all you can do is let CIC know you want to cancel your sponsorship. You cannot do anything about the marriage fraud in Canada. However, maybe in India there is something you could do, but it would not involve Canadian laws or the CIC.

Sorry for this happening to you. If she hasnt gotten PR visa yet, you can just simply inform CIC your marriage broke down.

This isnt really immigration fraud however, because your ex never came to Canada and then left you. She just simply stayed in her country and never wanted to be with you again. You should actually be thankful that she left you this early in the game because had she done this to you after landing, you would be responsible for any financial assitance she takes from the govt

Just to echo everyone else that replied, there does not seem to be any fraud here. Just a marriage breakdown; these things happen. Cancel your sponsorship, make sure you get a legal divorce, and do the same ... move on with your life.

How often did you communicate with your wife, anyways? It sounds like you only tried to contact her once a month after you lost contact with her? If that was the case even before, it sounds like your application was doomed anyways (to say nothing of your relationship). I talk with my wife and son for several hours every day, and our application was still refused.
