I am from the U.S. applying for a 1 year TRV (work permit). I am an NOC A, B or O worker with an LMO. I would like my U.S. fiance to come with me and I plan to put him on my application as my fiance. We are engaged to be married in May and I will be applying for my TRV before our marriage. I have two questions:
1. Without a marriage license and without meeting common law requirements, what support should I include with my application to legitimatize our relationship?
2. I'm worried he might not be let into the country (because he's just my fiance at this point and we don't meet common law requirements). Would it be better if we got our marriage license before we applied for the TRV?
