Few Questions regarding submitting my application

Hey All,

Now I am eligible under CEC and had all my documents ready and about to file.

I had few things and need clarification/ solution from all of you.

1. I will be filing in this week; I am going to India and getting married in MAY.
A. Should I inform CEC that I am getting married in MAy and submit the required documents from INdia to CPP- Ottawa.
If yes how should I write a letter to them and what should be included in it.

B. As I am applying right now, Can i Apply for Visiting Visa for her to bring with me back to Canada.
If no, how long should we wait for her to get a visa to enter into canada.

C. If she is not able to come along with me to Canada; and If we had submitted CEC the required and updated documents of her from India,
Where we will be getting her medicals and Passport Request?

I am really confused on all this, Please helpme out

You need to specify whats your current status (WP/PGWP) & till when its valid. Only then people can suggest better! else they need to make lots of assumptions

Well, thanks for the reply.

I am under work permit and and will be sending my application today.

Let me know whether I should include a letter stating that I will be getting married in May.

I don't think you need inform to CIC now. when you get married then you need send dependent form along with Marriage certificate to CIC.

So following that,

1. Can I submit documents ( marriage certificate, dependent spouse form and updated passport info of her ) to CPP-ottawa directly from India.

2. Or else if she can be granted a visiting visa, so that she can along with me to Canada; Can i send documents after landing here.

Once you are married, you will gather all her documents (as you mentioned above + PCC for your wife), then you will write a letter with your information (Name, DOB, Passport No, AOR/File number) and send those to CIC. They will acknowledge after few days of the receipt.

You can send all her documents after you guys are married, from anywhere in the world. They don't care about the initial location of the document being sent.

$$$. Is it possible for her to get a visiting visa, If yes should I provide my details to embassy stating I had applied to cec with AOR and so on...$$$$
