Ok So I am on the page for paying for our fees...what is this Right of Permanent Residence Fee? Do I pay it now or when I am granted PR I will have to pay it every year or something? $490?!?!

I am guessing we are just needing the Sponsorship application (per application) of $75 and the Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner $550 for sure...

Geeze I thought it was smooth sailing from here on now to find this lol...This is so expensive...medical was $350 lol. It all adds up quickly!

You can pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee now or when it is requested by the visa office. It's generally better to pay it up front since this means the visa office doesn't have to ask for it later (i.e. create additional processing time for your app).

Yes, for sponsoring your spouse, with no dependents/children costs $1040.
