Hi, i m flying to Toronto on 25th Dec. But I am pretty confused about arrangements for accommodation.
Should I stay in a motel for a couple of days and in the meanwhile, search for an apartment for rent?
How much does the motels near Toronto charge per night?

Ask to ur college that if they r providing pick up service from airport and stay for few days in college residence. They may provide free of charge or may charge.

I am going to GBC. It doesnt have a college residence....

yes ur husband can come along with u on a dependent visa..But i would recommend u to come first, complete on semester, apply for dependent visa (its just me)..My friend here did the same..and i think he will have his work visa when u apply for dependent visa...(no need to convert)..and PR depends on the province..in Ontario u need atleast i yr work exp to apply..but in Alberta (2013) u can apply for provincial pr (PNP) within a month

if i come on student visa to canada can my husband come along with me?i mean both at the same time and once coming there can he convert to work visa?if so how many days it would take for him to convert to work visa?and my last question is how many years after i can apply for pr if i go on study visa?

I actually don;t have much idea on motels near toronto...But its gonna be expensive for sure...here in London it cost 20-25 dollar a night..I would recommend u to find someone for sharing apartment befor u land here (thats wat i did)..use ur college facebook groups and canadavisa.com to find people

if u come between Jan1 and jan7 u ll get free pick up..and u ll get 3 days free stay at knights inn motel

In the arrival guide we received for Jan 14 intake, it is stated that the free-of-cost pick up service starts from Dec 28th and is up to 6th of Jan with 3 nights free stay option.

I have got acceptance letter for jan 2014 from seneca and i have applied for loan and waiting , my fees deadline is 29th nov i dont know when i'll get loan and pay my fees. Is it possible to defer to next session? Please advice me.

It is too late u also have to pay for GIC and GIC vl atleast 15 days and also u have to file visa. I advise u to go for may 2014 intake. U vl hv enough time rather than rushing at last minute.
