Since you are applying for a Spousal, i should not be that difficult to fill the application formnaveedali said:in toronto? and whats the lawyer's name?
Abraham Kroschak charges around 2400 CAD. Primus charges around 5000 USD. David Cohen charges around 3000 CAD. These fees may get changed any time.naveedali said:Any body know the fee Canadian Lawyers are charging for Spousal Application?

Govt fees - around 1100 CAD would be extra. Overall you are looking at spending 4000 CAD to 8000 CAD, depending on your lawyers.
If your case is complex case, you may want to engage lawyers. Otherwise, you may be able to submit the application online.
The only issue in my case is we did islamic marriage and celebrated our marriage in UK and lived together. But did'nt register it in UK as she wasn't a resident of UK and registered after few months in PakiStan when we came here. I don't know if this is normal or not.jwnmm said:We didn't have a lawyer. In Mississauga there's a neighborhood centre that offers free help. She looked over the application before we submitted (except for extra sheets) and made sure everything was as they wanted it and she organized it for us. We met with her a few times for questions and clarification as well.
If your case is relatively straight forward I'd recommend something like this instead of wasting money on a lawyer.
would you please indicate the name of the center offered the free help ??jwnmm said:We didn't have a lawyer. In Mississauga there's a neighborhood centre that offers free help.
