FEDX WAYBILL For returning passport from CPC-Ottawa

We just send our PPR to Ottawa today for visa and copr. sending the passport to CPC- Ottawa hasn't hard but returning Pre-paid envolope was bit confusing. we tried thousand time having a return label but it didn't work. then the FEDX lady told us to fill a paper which is called FEX INTERNAIONAL WAYBILL....So for ruturning my package i filled out a international fedx waybill and have one extra envolope.

So my question is will it be a problem for cic to send back my passport ?

A waybill is just a fancy name for a mailing label.

A waybill just means the label also states what is in the package (and some other things if it is not a document). This is required for international shipments.

Any label can be a return label. As long as it's prepaid. For instance, you can just buy labels online and print them out. I do this a lot if I order used stuff from private sellers in the US. I just make out the label, put in the information, and email it to the person with the item. They stick the label on the item and drop it off, and it comes to me in Canada. Works fine

I assume you filled out a "paper" label and sent that, but same thing as long as you paid for it.

In your case, the "To" should be to you, and the "From" the IRCC's address.

Yes, i did fill out the info in the reutun paper label...included my Credit Card info so they would charge me...so i am thinking i shouldn't be worried

I also just did the same at Fedex. I wasn't able to get a prepaid label. Instead we sent an international waybill with our credit card info so the shipping can be charged to us. But that means they can't just slap a label on and drop it off. They have to go to a counter and charge our card and send it off.

Hopefully it will be fine. I couldn't find any information on it. The prepaid label was the most difficult part!

UDATE GUYS...As OF Now My Online GCKey Says file is approved and closed....should get the COPR within this week...perhaos on friday..

Hey! I see you said your application online updated to approved so hopefully that mean they had no issue with the waybill!

PPR email Feb 22nd
PPR mailed on Feb 28th
PPR arrived in Ottawa March 1st

Took us so long to mail PPR cause we couldn't find a place to do the photos!

Let me know when you receive your COPR! Are you planning on landing shortly after? We are planning on moving at the end of this month when our lease is up so hopefully there will be no delays.

That's awesome! Seems like their turnaround is about 9 or 10 days. Can I ask what day the payment appeared on your card?

Landing this thursday at Toronto Pearson airport... "xCami" have you recevied your copr back ?
