as per my understading uptil now is that we need mainly two things to submit application :

1. WES certificate
2. IELTS score (only myself if i score enough marks) or with my wife's as well to increase the overall points.
3. Fill in all the forms given on CIC website for FSW.
4. short out the payment option.
5. put everything in a parcel and send it to sydney, nova scotia.

have i missed anything? pls advice.
are you hiring any consultant/lawyer to do all this? or applying by yourself?

later be prepared to get the required PCCs

Proof of funds - FSW

1. Is Fixed Deposit (FD) of 1 year maturity date is acceptable ( or should i need to make FD for 3/6 months and renew it)

2. Is a new FD of 15 days is acceptable of I need to have FD for 3/6 months old

3. If using bank statement, is 2 months old bank statement is acceptable or not.

Which one would be better option for proof of funds

Seniors plz advice.

Thanks

Proof of funds - FSW

1. Is Fixed Deposit (FD) of 1 year maturity date is acceptable ( or should i need to make FD for 3/6 months and renew it) Both are okay but bear in mind that you may need to show evidence later that the funds are readily available if required by your VO.

2. Is a new FD of 15 days is acceptable of I need to have FD for 3/6 months old Same answer as above

3. If using bank statement, is 2 months old bank statement is acceptable or not. Although CIC does not specify, most people recommend at leats 6 months

Which one would be better option for proof of funds Which ever you provide according to CIC instructions is okay, that is either your bank statement or a time/fixed deposit certificate

Seniors plz advice.

Thanks

Is this planning enough

You're missing several critical documents such as letters from your employers, proof of funds, etc. Without these your application will be refused.

I'd recommend you spend some time reading through the FSW guide and the document checklist before submitting your application.

If you don't want to read through the FSW guide yourself, then you should hire a consultant / lawyer.

Iam working in a foreign country.

I will send all my savings to my home country bank account with in 10 days.

Presently home country bank account has less money (around $500)

Will CIC get doubt if huge money comes into home country bank account with in 10 days.

If i send $15000 in 3 transactions in 10 days and wait for a month and take statement of 2 months and sent to CIC.

Can I show this as a bank statement.

my partner has good amount of money in his/her account from one year.

Shall i show both accounts as proof of funds.

What if i show more funds than it is required. They are 100% our own money. Not borrowing from anyone.

Seniors plz suggest.

I have a query..

I have seen some applicants, getting through with a bank letter only.

Means they didnt wait for any bank statement, just got a letter from the bank confirming the current balance and submitted it to CIC.

Is it good to go??

Thank u very much for insight....

I have read almost everything....and still impriving my knowledge....
I dont want to hire a lawyer......I shd make myself sufficent to do it on my own....

So with your suggetion requ. Goes like this.

Get WES & IELTS certificate.
Fill in all IMM forms, which I have filled its little tricky but nothing major
Attache reference docs???

I have All the employers joining letter and releaving letters.
I have contract papres from my current employers.
These docs, as most of u might be aware mentions only post and not description of duties.

Is these docs enough?

Or I need to write &submit a transcript of duties that I did with respective employer?
And shd this transcript be signed/stampled by past/current employer?

Please help and advice on this....

Proof of fund: can I show account detail of any currency? Im in Middle east and I hv local curency account. How much CAD equivalent money we shd show as minimum? 10000?

Please advice I am banking on you frends rather then hiring a lawyer to do my work. I want to fill my application by myown.

Thanks....
