Federal Skilled Worker No Updates on Application

Hello everyone,

Could you please advise what should I do. I applied for PR through Federal Skilled Worker Program
They received my application December 11, 2017. It has been 15 months
I requested GCMS Information Request the last updates on my application was 7 months ago.

In assessments it looks like:

• I passed Eligibility, Criminality, Medical.
• Info Sharing is Complete
• Security is not started yet.

When I checked Admissibility - Security

SECURITY: 1
Created Date: 2018/02/05
Updated Date: 2018/02/05
Tupe: Security
Status: Not Started
Status Updated By: MM18065
Due Date: 2019/02/16 - what does this due date mean? It has already been passed?

My vise is expired on April 21, 2019. I applied to bridge my work permit on January 25, 2019 and I still haven't hear back from them. I heard there is a new rule about bio-metrics outside Canada. I am afraid if I will receive an invitation for bio metrics after April 21 I won't be able to enter the country.

Have you ever had similar cases?

Do you know your Visa Office? You must since you ordered GCMS notes, it is mentioned there. Email your Visa Office directly and ask them why your Security hasn’t strated yet and also call CIC and ask them the same. Furthermore, raise a CSE and ask the same thing again. Sometimes you need to pester them in order to gauge some progress. 15 months is a really long time, I am afraid they might have forgotten about your application...Remind them!

I contacted today CIC, Visa officer and raise CSE.
Crossed fingers it will help to speed up a process.
