I know we have the thread name who's waiting more than 2 months... but time is passing, and March applicants are in that one now...

I just want to share my frustrations.

When the first PPR were issued, I really hoped I'll get one. It is becoming always more frustrating to see how even April applicants are getting their medical passed, and some of the Feb ones - not.

Do you think it's going to be August when we'll know something?

applied Feb 27
medical passed April 1st

ECAS

recieved Jan 01

I've read somewhere that applicants can order the GCMS notes on their case to see its current status. I don't know, maybe some of the February applicants would be interested in ordering that to see what's happening to their case.

I really don't understand what is the difference, his is one of the fastest ones. 1 month? wth?

what are they doing 3 months on some other ones......

did anyone apply for that GCMS? I don't know what it stands for, but I think I saw a post yesterday mentioning 5$.....

how do you do that and did you get them already? what format are they? is it a weekly update?

It stands for Global Case Management System. I think you have to be a permanent resident to request them directly, but some companies can request GCMS notes on your behalf for a fee (the one I saw wants 25$ for it), and it's supposed to take a month.

You can only use it if you are in Canada. And needless to say have valid status

I once called CIC helpline as my ECAS was not showing "application - In progress". I was told, primary applicant can contact CIC 14 weeks after filing the application to know the status and in which office the application is getting processed. I recommend you guys contact CIC to know the application status.

I did do that as well case specific enquiry call centre told me its in Sydney
