Just a quick questions guys. All steps changed to COMPLETED after several emails to CIC. Upon checking Ecas I realized it's turned from in process to Decision Made. Just out of curiosity...Can Decision Made be negative as in refusal? In order, words can Decision Made be the next positive step of securing an oath? Anyone here comes across anyone whose decision made did not result in an Oath Ceremony invite. Thanks all.

You should expect an oath invite at some point. So far what we have seen among other applicants is that decision made meant approval. Logically speaking it does not make any sense for them to reject without contacting you for further clarification or interviewing you for further questions if they had any intention of rejecting.

So just keep monitoring the tracker for your oath ceremony. Hopefully you get it scheduled soon. Congrats on getting closer to the finish line.

I did submit an UP request but not sure if it has been approved. Initial oath date was Jan 6 2022 but it was moved to Dec 11 after I sent them an email for expedited processing.

What did you tell them as a reason to expedite your ceremony?

Got my oat invitation for dec 6. Do kids younger than 14 take part in oat ceremony?
I got a seat number for my kid but she is just 9. Does it mean she needs to be there?

Anyone received Survey from IRCC before? By seeing email in inbox i thought some good news, but it is about survey. not sure why they sent survey all of a sudden

I got the survey as well but no oath invite
Just curious about you - what is your case processing office? Is it CPC Scarborough?

Hi I am not sure how to find out which office, the survey email shows as IRCC survey of settlement clients. Citizenship test email received frm DN sit SCR. Is it scarborough?

However, after sending survey to them, the very next day all my other steps marked as completed except Oath

My ECASE status changed to Decision Made and my tracker shows I have been scheduled to attend my citizenship ceremony on Feb 14, 2022.
It looks like this was updated on Nov 17 on the tracker. I haven't received any email/letter though. How long does it take to receive the email?

I received an email last week from the IRCC and got all excited hoping was the Oath Invite but was a Survey. I have my sisters wedding next May in the USA hope all is completed so I can attend. Good luck everyone!!!

No
2) If not, what's the purpose of this test?
To verify some information, like your language skills, presence, etc.. Just treat it like a casual chat and relax. It's easy and you can ask the official question you may have as well.

3) If yes, why are they requesting another test, when online test shows completed already.

4) How long after this one, will I get Oath ceremony invite?
It varies a lot.

After endless wait finally got an email from CIC Edmonton office that I am scheduled for an interview with a citizenship officer and also got passport pages submission request. Can you guys help me out what to expect in the interview and how long the interview would be?
