Hi guys

I had lost the faith about this but finally I received the AOR email yesterday

App Received Feb 17, 2020
AOR Received Oct 13th, 2020

so right now, the next step would be to wait for them to let me know that everything is OK and give me a knowledge test date?

Thanks guys and good look to the ones that haven't received the AOR yet. Don't lose the faith!

Today received response from Ircc about the Aor: “
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is not available in the system yet.

If you sent it by traceable means, you may contact the mail service provider you used in order to make sure that it was received by the processing office.

Your application will be processed according to the date it was received.”

Clearly they provide false information as they don’t process based on date application received. As long as they accept new applications and processing newer applicant we don’t know how long it will take to get AoR. We should find out why they are skipping some applications. It shouldn’t be an accident!

It seems it takes 2 months after AOR to move to In process, the Oct AORs should hopefully start hearing in December

I still have no AOR but I just called and asked them when they processed Applications do they base on the date received or the date of AOR. The agent said what really matters is the date they received Our applications. So even if June applications got AOR way early than Feb, when IRCC clears their backlog, February has priority than June.

I also asked if it’s possible that our package gets delivered but then they lost it within the office. The agent said no with a very assuring tone. I think they might have a system of sorting packages to prevent it, or at least I hope so!

People in February are still getting AORs. Dont lose hope. They are just working very weirdly and out of sync. I would hope nothing is lost

March applicants already going into process while many applicants here waiting for AoR. Clearly that’s another misinformation they provide. Why still june applicants getting AoRs?? If they have agents available and it’s based on date received why they don’t stop issuing aor to june and july applicants and go back and focus on the feb to may applicants. I don’t think this is an accident that they skipped some applications. There should be a reason and we should find that to see whether it’s discriminatory or not? As I can’t believe that they assigned our applications to an agent on leave and now he/she comes back and issues aor. This is a joke! We should follow up this seriously as I fear it happens when they process our application. Easily we can wait for years without any answers!!

Ya I know. It’s ridiculous. I actually asked about June applications receiving AOR but the agent refused to comment on that. There is no doubt that it will take us at least 2 years to get the Canadian passport. For now, all I want is an AOR so that at least it’s a proof that they received my application!
