Some January applicants are starting to receive AIP. Some have even started to receive SA, DM and a couple landing interviews already too.
I went and had my fingerprints done for the RCMP criminal record check and just FYI if you get the same request to double check that they are submitting it to the correct CIC officer. The person filling in my information to the computer used the address on file which was correct but it automatically picked an officer's name too. Mine was for the attention of a different officer to the one they had on file. I don't know if this is new as they were not aware before that there were different officers for each application. Might just have been the person doing mine of course but just incase.

Yes my BGC started the same day I got the fingerprint request. Not everyone gets a request for fingerprinting. Seems if you are in Canada longer then 6 months they are requiring it.
Feb applicant I gave my fingerprints last week I don't know if they received it yet since it has not updated online
It's gonna be at least 2 months before we get our Mexican PCC sent to the CIC office, so we are gonna be definitely delayed. Ah well. Maybe we will get an AIP in the meantime. We shall see.
I haven't had any update that they received my fingerprints yet either. I expect it to be a couple weeks before any update.

Need suggestion as all of you have applied.I am a Canadian citizen willing to sponsor my spouse and a child( 10 years old)living outside of canada. I have couple clarification on forms to be filled.
1) Form IMM1344: Do i have to fill two separate forms for my spouse and child? There is no space to provide two names in a form.
2)IMM 008 dependent : Do we have to fill this to provide information about our child. We only have one child
3) On photographs for application, I am providing four photographs as per specifications. Do we need to mention anything on the back of photographs

Hi there,
I just want to ask if there’s any in the group have knowledge regarding consumer proposals. I’m primary applicant and waiting for bgc at this moment. I’m planning to apply for consumer proposals does it affect my application? Or I shall wait for decision for my pr application before I apply for proposals. I’m just little worried and stress.

I see most Jan applicants have Landing Interview already does this mean only 30 days left for most of us?
