Hi,

Sent our application Jan 30 from Sweden and arrived at CPC (Robert Speck) on Feb 6.
Will update once I (Sponsor) receive anything...

I (PA) submitted my application on the 1st Feb from London, UK.
Anxiously refreshing the royal mail tracker for delivery confirmation.
It seems to have been 'passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in CANADA' but not confirmed delivered.

Fingers crossed it gets there intact. In the meantime I have completed my Schedule A and applied for police certificate.

According to the Royal Mail my application was signed for an hour ago. Now to wait!

Can you actually do that? I have been told that you would only have 50-50 chance of getting approved if you do visiting visa. That was the reason I decided to go with Spousal Sponsorship! Are you going to apply for visiting visa right away or you would need PR File# to do that? I am just curious to know so that I can get a visiting visa for my spouse as well. Thanks!

I submitted for Spousal sponsorship and I am still waiting to receive AOR. We're talking about Visiting visa for spouse, I was planning to apply for visiting visa for my wife but decided to apply PR directly because people advised us not to apply for visiting visa and I don't know why.

we send 02/01/2017 our new application to Mississauga and received 02/06/2017.
i have a question my wife live in alberta . she already divorced and have 5 kids (2 dependent kids)
we married at srilanka. the problem is she is older more then 15 years from me.
the question is we got any problem from visa officer.

we have all the proof past 3 years online chat history.
she visit 2 time before our marriage.
we got life threading from her ex husband and we made a police compliant about it that.
and we have police report too.

please give some advise about this

I sponsored my common-law partner who is 21 years younger than me. I am also divorced and have a 13 year old. I read somewhere these are all red flags. I hope we have enough evidence, but I guess I will find out soon hopefully. They received my application on Jan. 25 and I am still waiting for my AOR.

Good luck to you. I hope your wife's ex won't continue to cause problems for both of you. It doesn't sound like a good situation!

Yes indeed. My wife and I both got separated emails with each receiving a UCI.

Now we have to wait for her being approved as my sponsor. I also was already able to link the application and upload my Schedule A background Info form.
