Hi Guys,

I checked my ECAS today and it says application received on February 7. (I could check since I already had my wife's UCI from previous visitor visa application) However, she has not yet received the email to link application. Should I try to link the application without the email. Will that be fine?

Hello Guys. My apploication was delivered on Feb 9, 2017 and I am still waiting for AOR. Anybody knows the timeline on when to receive the AOR? thanks.. Getting worried and excited at the same time. Best of luck to all!

My application has been delivered on the same day Feb 9 and I am still waiting to receive AOR1. Timeline varies from case to case, I noticed for some cases they even received their SA in 3 weeks but some cases like us we haven't even got out AOR1 and it's almost going to be 3 weeks still no email from CIC. I am eagerly waiting for AOR1, checking my email everyday and also I am trying to link my application but no luck.

Let's wait and see!

Hi, I applied for my wife on 31 Jan 2017. My application was received on Feb 01,2017, got a message in my cell phone as well from IRCC mail room for the same. It's almost 4 week, but
no AOR 1 yet, not even they returned the application. I put my mailing address in her application, but used her residential address. Is there any chance,they can return my application as I have used my mailing address? If they return, how many days it will take to get it back in Edmonton,AB. Thanks.

Hi Guys, Please help me with Supplementary Travels info form.

I am sponsoring my wife and she is filling her and mine last 10 years travels out of country. Now, I moved to canada in 2015 as a PR. What should she fill here for Immigration to Canada or should she just start from the time that I moved in Canada. Do we need to consider my travels from India too?

Did anyone has the same issues? Please help.

Mailed the application on the 20th via Canada Post Xpress and it was received at the office on the 23rd.

and Asking on another mail to LINK the APPLICATION, is that the AOR1 ?

I assumed it is AOR1 but looking at other post, it confused me . Your help would be appreciated.

This is your AOR1. We also received 2 emails.

I don't have anymore answers about linking as I linked the app before I got the AOR1 so I used the PA's Family Name/Name and DOB instead of UCI # or App #.

All I can think of is to keep trying different options (UCI#, App#, Family name option, etc). It's frustrating that it locks you out after 5 tries (for me it was 4).

I was able to link the app the day before we got AOR1 by email. But I read that some people could link up to a week before they got AOR1. There is no harm in trying, only that it might drive you crazy that it doesn't work, depending on when IRCC enters your file into their system, once they open it.

My application was delivered Jan 30 and only today was I able to link it. We haven't received AOR1 yet. Hang in there! We were getting super anxious about it so I know it's a big relief when it finally happens, but try to not worry too much about it - it's not that unusual to take this long

I just wanted to chime in and say thanks for confirming that linking before AOR1 is received is possible. I knew that it was in the past, but with the new application kit and everything changing, it seemed like there was an impression it wasn't possible to do so.

I'm able to link my application today (app received on Feb 10) but still waiting for AOR1.

I have uploaded the Background declaration form and Police certificate after linking the application.
Is anyone aware what is the next step/ amy action needed from my side and how much time does it take to move to the next step ?
