How many days is the vasa valid? I mean after receiving the passport back, how many day you have to land in Canada?

I am asking this because I am preparing for my wife to quit her job.

She need like 1 month to quit her job so this concern me a little bit.

Normally the landing should be done before the medical expiration .
When did you take the medical?

It's around 6 months usually, and once u get your passport. There ll be an expiry date on the visa.

Decided to join as I am trying to get an idea of when I can expect my husband to get his approval. So far timeline is as follows:
Application received by CIC: Feb 1 2017
Request for schedule A: Mar 3
(Submitted within 3 days via IRCC webform and then later found out they didn't receive it, submitted again in May)
Confirmation of app sent to AVO: May 24
"Began processing application": Jun 15
Request for medical: Jul 10
Medical submitted and approved within 1 week thereafter
