February 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

I have almost the same timeline as yours but Mississauga office. I don't know why Jan and Feb applicants penalized? Applicants from Mar and Apr have the oath letters in their hands. And we are still waiting for Test invite.

Mississauga applicants in Mar and Apr don't have oath letters in their hand. We are in the same boat, waiting for test invites.

BTW, i called IRCC today. They said your applications cleared all the required verification and move to next step and that is " Citizenship Test". All i have to do is to wait.

Also, i told them that i will be travelling in Sept that is important i can't move my flight, so they added an extra line in my case that please don't schedule Test or Oath during these days. My Question here: Does it effect my application? Please comment

If I had sent my application in 2 weeks later in March instead of February...the spreadsheet shows that I'd already have had my oath ceremony by now. Instead... I'm still stuck in IP limbo.

Not really. I have sent mine in March and have test invite for next week.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 16, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on February 23, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on April 18, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 16, 2017 at 8:29 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. You became a Canadian citizen on July 19, 2017.

Not really. I have sent mine in March and have test invite for next week.

Well, maybe not everywhere - haha.... but definitely in Calgary and it seems a few other places too. Calgary March and April applicant timelines had files being processed before many in February were even touched.

As I said to the other person, no one from Mar or Apr spreadsheet in his/her office (Mississauga) has a test invite.

Calgary - March applicants from Calgary already have oath dates. April applicant timelines show files being processed and letters for test dates being sent much more quickly than February applicants. The December and January applicant timelines show the same thing.... For some reason, the February timelines in Calgary are all screwy - it's like they just literally forgot the box sitting in the corner! Haha.

No they did not. I was surprised.
