I never received my AOR by email or mail. I called to see why they didnt email it to me and apparently lady over the phone said : i didnt provide my email when i filled in application. I checked the copy of application that i sent and i did provide my email. Not sure how they missed it.

Anyways, I thought i will be getting it in mail - still nothing. So i called again to check and another lady said they are going to request to have it sent again (who knows if that is every going to happen)

I am frustrated because same thing happnd when i applied for my PR (in 2012). I waited for my medical request and never recvd it. I called and found out that medical was emailed (2 months ago) but i never got the email.

I have a question:

What does AOR says ? is it just basic information ? it doesnt say anything about the test date right ?

also, test invite will be a separate email or mail (i dont think they will email me anything now - it will be mailed :-[)

AOR has general statements such as we received your application, will process it against basic requirements. When you meet them you will be invited to test, bla-bla-bla. Nothing fancy. Your test invite should come by mail.

AOR just acknowledges your application, gives you an application number (such as C000000000) as well as your UCI.
Your UCI is also on front of PR Card, as well as on the COPR.
Hopefully they'll email another one to you. IF you have eCAS access, no worry

Your UCI is the same number as your PR card. It's the 8 digit number on the front of your card.

I have a question about 2016's taxes, i filed my taxes on feb 16th, the place where i went to filed my taxes use a software called "Cantax" so in my application i said yes to last year taxes, but today i went to my CRA account and it shows taxes from 2016 not received ??? will that make me look like a liar on my application? I only have a receipt stating the date i filed the taxes from the place i went to do my taxes.

I don't think your tax was filed on Feb 16. CRA open 2016 Efile on Feb 20 this year. I suggest you go back to your Cantax guy & ask him to efile you return, if he refuse....contact me i will efile for you...lol

I called CRA last night to make sure they did receive them, and i was told that yes indeed they have them already. I didn't ask what day exactly they happened to received them, i waited a week after doing my taxes to sent my citizenship application so i hope there is no problems there.

You would need to move your application to March with new dates.

I don't think your tax was filed on Feb 16. CRA open 2016 Efile on Feb 20 this year. I suggest you go back to your Cantax guy & ask him to efile you return, if he refuse....contact me i will efile for you...lol

CIC do not into our online accounts with CRA to verify the returns, if they need they will request officially from CRA which will have your exact filing date. CRA online account showing"not recievd" is due to glitch with CRA, when a return is processed it goes to this status before next system refresh which happens each Wednesday night... you can trust this as I am a tax professional .

Woow I didn't expect that! I just checked my status and it said that they sent me a mail for the test which will be held on April 3rd.
I updated the info on the sheet.

Hi everyone,

a fourth line just got added to my ecas. I am one of those lucky applicants who are getting below line added, i am just assuming it is for finger print request.

We sent you correspondence on March 15, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Any suggestions for where i should do my fingerprinting, which is faster in processing and economical cost wise. Any idea how much delay will this finger print request cause in your processing time. Its high time now we should add column to our spreadsheet for finger print request since most of the applicants are getting this request.
