Hey preet, first letter was AOR1 and the one you received on Sept with another uci is AOR2.

So my file is still in canada??
And what is the whole process..i mean i dnt know what is aor1 and aor2

It was a very big surprise because they actually called us to let us know everything was set to go!!
They asked us for my husband's passport and told us it would be ready in a few days.
Can't wait...!!!

I received AOR2 on april, 16th...so it took almost 5 months for the PR part of the process. My family and I are outside Canada.

No haven't got any other letter.
These are the only 2 emails she have got.

I suggest to call CIC and ask them, also if you can order gcms notes, so you can check out what are they working on your case.

Hey Guys, has anyone ordered their notes recently? They changed the consent form, and now we are unsure as to how to fill it out properly.
We do have a representative, but we want the notes to go to me (the sponsor who lives in canada) and not the representative.
I hope this makes sense?

The rep needs to sign the form.

You could cancel the rep and then sign it yourself? I think you mentioned wanting to ditch the rep before?

We just filled it out the same way we used to fill out the old form. PA in the first section and Sponsor in the designated individual and we both signed the form. See what happens.

Yes, we want to ditch the rep, but we put so much money into that guy, in the off chance that something goes wrong, it would prob be better to have him in our backpocket. even tho we have lost nearly all confidence in him.
We emailed him a few weeks ago saying we wanted to submit additional documents to the Vo and his answer was: "I would hold those for now – you have provided plenty of evidence of a bona fide relationship (not to mention a marriage certificate)."

to him, a marriage certificate seems like solid proof lol ???
