R Mahmood received my package on March 4, 2016. Very exciting as i was just able to access this information on the Correios website (Brazilian post). Now it's a waiting game It appears as if there aren't many Sao Paulo applicants on this thread, hoping that this is a sign that the VO is relatively quick with application processing?

hi again - hope you have been well. I just got back from visiting my wife in Sao Paulo for 2 weeks. We actually visited morro De sao Paulo which I loved - fabulous time. as for our application here is our update - Our application was received in Mississauga on Feb 9th. We got AOR on March 15 and also received Sponsor approval on March 21st. Our application has been forwarded to Sao Paulo and when we checked our file they also received our medicals as well. We are still waiting for an FBI clearance from the US for my wife as she was in the US for longer then 6 months at one time. I'm in Toronto and you? I know your in Brazil now but where in Canada are you from and where will you be living?

I'll keep you updated as well should anything transpire on my end.

I was wondering how long do I have to wait until we see the rest of the information starts showing up?
We received our SA on the May 22nd and it only says:

Sponsorship
We received your application to sponsor XXXXXXXX on February 17, 2016.
We started processing your application on March 17, 2016

Permanent Residence
We received XXXXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on February 17, 2016.

And congratulations on your paperwork being sent to São Paulo! My application was received in Mississauga on March 4th so I'm going to be a little bit behind you! Haven't received anything yet but hoping for good news this week or next week!
Me and my husband were living in Toronto together before we came to Brazil, and when we return to Canada we'll be living in Ottawa as my family is there.

I will keep you updated as soon as I hear something, and please let me know if you hear anything as well

Your notes will be more informative and it will give you a pretty good general idea of where things are. Glad you ordered them

Luckily for me, my application is staying in Mississauga; however, I have yet to receive AOR2 (could take some time even if they have the application there already).

yeah ikr! wait, ur VO is sauga so which country is ur app corresponding to? for can/pak it's the LVO.

My status has changed from PR to citizenship after I have applied for spouse sponsorship.. do you think they are waiting for me to update the file ??

Is it mandatory to update the file with my citizenship certificate??

Seeing as you have AOR1 - you might want to send it in (include a cover letter explaining the change (PR to Citizen) and write your UCI# and Case File # on the cover letter as well).

I would wait until the end of the week before contacting them - you have to keep in mind that there is a long weekend. Some delays are to be expected.
