My application was received at 02-02-2016, and got my AOR1 on 11th March, but still have not got the SA, I can see my sponsotship application In Process in ECAS, Today I talked to CIC helpline, they said they will inquire the Mississauga office about the status of application and if required the Mississauga office will contact me.

If I don't receive my SA by this Thursday, I will give them a call next Tuesday.

It depends on the Case Agent who is assigned to treat your application. Processing times can vary.

So I'm getting a teeny bit anxious for not receiving the SA at this point - 6 days has passed since AOR1 (and 42 days since application received)

If SA is still pending tomorrow, would it be too early to call CIC on Thursday - given that there's a 4-day long weekend coming up?

Same here, 49 days since application received and 8 days since AOR1. Hopefully we'll get some good news soon!

Or a lot of Case Agents have requested more time off given that a long Easter weekend is approaching. We need to keep in mind that there is a holiday approaching and that these are people with families as well

True! Even though I know when holidays are coming, I tend to forget about them because I don't get any (I'll be working all Easter weekend!).
Let's hope for the best (and let's eat a lot of chocolate eggs while we wait!).

Got AOR1 on 15th of march still waiting for SA don't know whats going on now in tension anyone in same thread any idea what time cic sent email please let know or i have to call cic bcz all in my timeline almost get SA

You should have got it by now. I think they'll give you an answer only if you don't receive anything in 47 days. Also, check Junk email. I have got both email around 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm (Eastern time).

I called CIC ( i have not received my SA yet) and the man said he didn't see why it would take so long , but there is nothing he can do until next week :'(

I see that few people(including me) with the same timeline until AOR have not received SA.. I have a feeling the officer is on vacation or on leave..

Any word from others who have SA as to when they get AOR2 or when it's sent off for processing? Mine was being sent to Ottawa as per the SA letter but I am assuming I will be getting further word on the process.. ECAS still says in process an AOR1.
