Is there a typical time frame from SA to AOR2? I'm coming up to 3 weeks since SA and still don't have that third line in ecas. Should I be worried or need to contact anyone yet? (and when/whom would be appropriate?)
All depends on the VO really. No real time frame per see.

The reason they sent you two copies is exactly for this reason (one you keep for yourself - to get your RAMQ and other services such as language classes) and the other is to send to CIC if they request it. I do not think you can send in a scanned copy as they will most likely ask you for the original.
Hi mega,

To who do they send the CSQ? To the sponsor or to the sponsored person? We checked the credit card and the charge was made April 12. We're expecting the CSQ to be mailed by this week or next week.

Thanks for the reply. How long did it take for your CSQ from the day that they charged the card? We haven't received any AOR 2 from our local VO. I think they're still waiting for the CSQ to be released. And once we received it, I think our local VO will be asking for it together with the additional docs if any.

Ordering under the Privacy Act is free. However, your spouse must be physically in Canada to receive the files.

If your spouse is not in Canada then the sponsor who is a Canadian citizen or PR must order the notes for the applicant under the Access to Information Act. This costs $5 and you must include the consent form (IMM5744) with your request.

Ok, I'm the sponsor, a permanent resident and I'm in Canada.
Im sponsoring my spouse who is in Peru

We requested to receive the notes via email.
They didn't ask for my spouses address or whether he is in Canada or not
They just asked for my address and I provided it.

But again, I asked to receive them via email.
I'm guessing I have to reorder them?

Yes,

Since you did not provide proof that your spouse is in fact in Canada they will likely start to process your request and then ask for documentation to prove he is in Canada. Since he is in Peru, you obviously won't be able to provide documentation and your request will be denied.

Have your spouse fill out IMM5744 by entering his information in section A and then signing it, while entering your information in section C. Choose "email" to receive the notes. Then he scans the form and sends it to you. Then you reorder the notes, this time choosing Access to Information Act and upload the completed form during the process of applying for the notes. You will be prompted to pay $5 with a credit card at the end of the process.

Hope this helps.

Hope this helps.

Thank you everyone, over the moon with copr but also feeling for/with everyone who is still waiting. Keep the faith!

And to answer your question in this thread as well: i think the lettter should be enough for the dutch affairs to start processing your request. I wouldnt wait for some kind of letter as their request is clear enough and a reply might take a while. I emailed cic once and their reply was pretty quick though: 4 days.

When i requested my dutch police record the only box i had to tick was immigration and the dutch justice department knows what to check for/on. In your case i would add a copy of cic's request. The VOG will be mailed to you, not CIC, then youd have to forward. The form is in dutch and comes with an english translation at the bottom. Good luck!

I received a request for extra documents today for a Dutch Police certificate. They didn't attach the letter I needed from them to request the Police Certificate, so I replied immediately asking for the letter. The automated response says it can take up to 20 working days to reply to my email. I was wondering, how long does it usually take them to respond to emails?

Hi guys, i have been asked the PCC too. Could you both keep me posted on :-
1) The date on which you submit your PCC
2) DM date or any other correspondance from CIC w.r.t point 1 - acknowledgement date etc..

This is because i have seen other Ottawa cases where the DM happened 1 month after submitting the PCC. I am from a third world country so just wanted to extrapolate on your timeline if yours take 1 monthish mine should take 6 monthish...
